We provide not only the Driver CPC 7hr Modules but now also the AFV (Alternate Fueled Vehicle) training.
What does CPC mean?
For those not quite as far on in their journey, let’s briefly rewind. CPC was introduced to the UK back in 2008. When first rolled out, this covered bus and coach drivers. A year on and lorry drivers were also included. So in simple terms, barring certain exceptions, if the main part of your job involves driving lorries, buses, or coaches, you need a CPC.
Obtaining a CPC by passing the examinations and assessments just once isn’t enough. Given the responsibility bestowed on the drivers of these vehicles, the CPC must be updated every 5 years in the form of periodic training.

AFV Training (Alternate Fuelled Vehicles)
In 2018, UK law was changed so that the weight limit for Cat B driving licence holders driving alternatively fuelled vehicles could be increased from 3.5 tonnes to 4.25 tonnes. This increase in the maximum authorised mass is to offset the loss of payload capacity due to the weight of the batteries.
Anyone caught driving an alterative fuel van with a standard Category B licence that hasnt completed the training, or flouts any of the other rules, could be subject to a level three fine of £1,000.
This course is aimed at businesses looking to reduce their carbon footprint and transition their fleet to alternative fuel such as electric, hydrogen, natural gas or biogas.
This course is a 1 day course
