Up-Skill/Re-Skill Your Workforce

We provide a wide range of professional courses to keep your staff trained and upto date with the latest qualifications.

Why should you up-skill / re-skill

existing employees?

There are many reasons why you should upskill or retrain your staff. Here are a few of the most important ones:

  • To improve your business's bottom line. Upskilled and retrained employees are more productive, which can lead to increased profits. They are also more likely to be innovative and come up with new ideas that can help your business grow.
  • To stay ahead of the competition. The world of work is changing rapidly, and the skills that are in demand today may not be the same skills that are in demand tomorrow. By upskilling and retraining your staff, you can ensure that they have the skills they need to stay ahead of the competition.
  • To create a more engaged and motivated workforce. Employees who are constantly learning and growing are more likely to be engaged and motivated in their work. This can lead to a more productive and positive work environment.
  • To attract and retain top talent. In today's competitive job market, top talent is looking for employers who offer opportunities for upskilling and training. By investing in your staff's development, you can make your business more attractive to potential employees.

Here are some specific benefits of upskilling and retraining your staff:

  • Increased productivity: Upskilled and retrained employees are more productive because they have the skills and knowledge they need to do their jobs more efficiently.
  • Improved customer service: Employees who are upskilled in customer service skills are better able to meet the needs of customers and provide a more positive customer experience.
  • Reduced costs: Upskilling and retraining can help to reduce costs by making employees more efficient and productive. It can also help to reduce the need for hiring new employees.
  • Increased innovation: Employees who are upskilled in innovation skills are better able to come up with new ideas and solutions to problems. This can help your business to be more competitive.

Does your fleet operate the use of AFV (Alternate Fuelled Vehicles)

In 2018, UK law was changed so that the weight limit for Cat B driving licence holders driving alternatively fuelled vehicles could be increased from 3.5 tonnes to 4.25 tonnes. This increase in the maximum authorised mass is to offset the loss of payload capacity due to the weight of the batteries.

Anyone caught driving an alternative fuel van with a standard Category B licence that hasnt completed the training, or flouts any of the other rules, could be subject to a level three find of £1,000.

This course is aimed at businesses looking to reduce their carbon footprint and transition their fleet to alternative fuel such as electric, hydrogen, natural gas or biogas.
